"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..." Genesis 1:1

As a biologist, I was educated in the many facets of evolution and as a result I used it to support my actions as an atheist.  After learning that evolution was not repeatable, observable, or falsifiable, but was only an unsubstantiated conjecture of a historical worldview of life origins, that I found scientific evidence that supported the Christian worldview and Genesis, the foundational book of the Bible.

The random chance evolutionary worldview cannot account for morality, the laws of logic, or the uniformity of nature.

The Bible teaches that God is the Creator of all things (Gen. 1:1; John 1:3) and that all things belong to God (Ps. 24:1), and thus God has the right to make the rules for an absolute moral code.

Since the God of Scripture is immaterial, sovereign, and beyond time, it makes sense to have laws of logic that are immaterial, universal, and unchanging.  (Prov. 8:12, 22-30)

God upholds the uniformity of the universe by what we would call the "laws of nature" so that the universe will not arbitrarily change. (Gen. 8:22; Jer. 33:20-21)

A belief must have a good reason if it is to be considered rational and not simply an arbitrary opinion.  A belief will fail for lack of evidence and the former follower will be come inoculated against it.  We see many atheistic former evolutionist going to the intelligent design movement.  They realize that some intelligent force had to create the universe and life as we know it, but they refuse to accept God as the Designer.
